Petregistration.id PetPoints allow you to register your pet on the Indonesian Pet Registration Portal. Pet registration is based on microchips as a mean to assign a permanent unique code to your pet.

You can purchase and use these ‘coins’ as a means of payment, so in a way these are just credits you can use to register pets. One petpoint equals one lifetime standard pet registration under your ownership. Whether you are a professional or pet owner, it does not make a difference. Most important is for you to do whatever possible to ensure that when your pet gets lost, when found it can be returned.

For example: your pet goes missing and someone finds it. They usually bring it to a vet, shelter of animal ambulance. These professionals use their microchip reader to determine the 15-digit chip number. When they enter this number in Indonesia’s first pet search engine nomorchip.id or in the petregistration.id search field, the selected contact details of the current pet owner will show as well as special notes or considerations for the pet. The professional or finder contacts the pet owner usually via e-mail or mobile and the owner gets reunited with his or her pet. As easy as that.
